Luke is a licensed Professional Engineer, project and construction manager with 20 years of experience in process and mechanical systems design across gas, chemical, water, waste, and exhaust industries. He also specializes in code studies and hazardous occupancy designs. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is LEED AP and CEM certified.

Alex is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 8 years of semiconductor industry experience specializing in process-mechanical systems, project management, construction management, and process optimization. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Chung-Ang University, LEED AP certification, and is fluent in English and Korean.

Aubrey provides comprehensive administrative and engineering support, ensuring seamless operations across invoicing, HR, and technical processes. With a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical problem-solving, she brings efficiency and precision to every aspect of her role. Aubrey holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Secondary Teacher Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin.

Brett is a certified Engineer-In-Training with 5 years of experience designing gas and chemical systems, process cooling water, vacuum systems, industrial ventilation, and hydronic heating and cooling. He brings strong engineering and project coordination skills, along with a commitment to building lasting professional relationships. Brett holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Business Foundations Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin.

Daniel has over 15 years of experience in design and drafting for semiconductor, power, wastewater, paper, hydrogen, and food processing industries collaborating closely with mechanical, structural, and piping teams to develop design packages from concept to construction. Daniel holds an Associate of Science in Architectural Engineering & Computer-Aided Design from Austin Community College and is highly proficient in CADD software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.

Joshua is a licensed Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over a decade of experience in facility design and development. He specializes in mechanical and process systems for semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, and research lab projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University.

Kelly brings extensive experience in finance, operations, and research, specializing in providing administrative support and fostering cross-team collaboration. With a detail-oriented and adaptable approach, she efficiently manages multiple projects and drives smooth operations in fast-paced environments. She holds a Master’s in International Business and a Bachelor’s in Spanish and International Business.

TRUSTED BY COMPANIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY

We provided process engineering and design services for an existing Micro Electronic Research Building Cleanroom Expansion and the addition of a new Mechanical Support Building on the J.J. Pickles Research Campus for the University of Texas at Austin. The tool utility matrix we prepared will form the basis of design for the process and process mechanical system sizes and specifications. The process engineering drawings were accurately prepared to take into account the multidisciplinary design teams, programming study, and owner’s requirements. Finally, we performed a Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQ) study that determined hazard levels and occupancy requirements in coordination with the Architect.

Cleanroom Buildout & Expansion + Tool Hookup

Arete provided engineering services as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for chemical dispense upgrades in two buildings on-site for an advanced technology photolithography photomask equipment manufacturer in Round Rock, TX. The new distribution systems consisted of auto-switchover pumping cabinets and feeds for each chemistry piped to valve manifold boxes located in the interstitial space above both cleanrooms and then distributed to individual tools.

Chemical Dispense Upgrades

Arete provided engineering design services, multidiscipline technical oversight, and coordination of Architectural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls. We successfully completed this work for the installation of a new closed circuit reverse osmosis (CCRO) skid to treat RO Reject and send to Blend Water Tank for a semiconductor manufacturing client located in Austin, TX.

ATMC CCRO Skid Installation

We provided process engineering and design for BSGS (bulk specialty gas and slurry) systems with responsibilities as the EOR (Engineer of Record) in collaboration with other A/E on a new semiconductor fab for Samsung in Taylor, TX. For this project we prepared: P&IDs for new BSGS systems in AutoCAD; a code review for new BSGS systems; piping design and equipment layout in Revit. In addition we provided: construction administration services: answering contractor RFI’s, reviewing product submittals, and construction observation site visits; and, permitting assistance as needed.
